Console beta terms

Last updated 26 October 2026

Laavu Console is a free beta. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Who runs it

The console is run by individual entrepreneur Denis Aleksandrovich Ilguzin (ИП Ильгузин Денис Александрович), OGRNIP 326508100228971, Dubna, Moscow Region, Russia. Contact: hello@getlaavu.com.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. One account per person.

What it is

The console keeps a Laavu server you installed yourself up to date and tells you when something on it breaks. During the beta an account can link one server. The console is a separate service: Laavu itself is open source and works without it.

No guarantees

The beta is provided as is. It may be down, lose data or change without notice. Do not rely on it as your only way to notice problems with a server that matters to you. We are not liable for damage to your server, your data or your business caused by the console or by its absence.

What the console sees

The server sends a health report: versions, services, disk and memory, certificate dates, how many agents run and whether their workers are up, pending OS updates. Agent names are replaced with agent-1, agent-2 unless you give the console the names right on the server. The console also stores the jobs it ran and their short output, your email, your passkeys' public keys and a log of what you and the console did. The details are in the privacy policy.

What it cannot see or do

The console has no account in Laavu on your server and no ssh access. It cannot read your agents' files, sessions or transcripts, run arbitrary commands, add users or keys, or install anything that is not a signed Laavu release. It can only ask the server to run operations from a fixed list, and only those whose rights you left on. The list and the rights are in link.md.

Taking control back

Run sudo laavu unlink on the server or press Unlink in the console. The server forgets the console's key and stops talking to it. Laavu keeps working, and you update it with laavu update yourself.

Email

We use your email for sign-in links, alerts and a weekly digest. Alerts and the digest can be turned off in settings. We do not send marketing and do not share your email.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete the account. Connected servers are unlinked first, then the account, its servers, reports, jobs and alerts are deleted. Entries in the log of what happened are kept without your email for investigating abuse. Database backups roll over within two days.

Abuse

We may disable an account that tries to attack the console or other people's servers.

Changes

The terms may change during the beta. We will email you before a change that affects what the console sees or does on your server.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. There is also a Russian version; if the two differ, the Russian one prevails.
